Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

My favorite pizza since growing up, now I can only get it occasionally!

I'm not high maintenance, but when i need a good, high fat meal as a reward for my usual diet, i choose pizza. A few weeks ago? Out of sheer desperation (because Rosies opens 4:30), i chose Pizza Hut. And after having a Rosie's Pizza i will never make that gawd-awful mistake again. Thank you Rosie's Pizza for a wonderful (1 or 2 slice) delicacy that i'll look forward to once a week. Now, here's the funny part about Rosie's Pizzeria - the staff. Now, i know some folks have posted that they are rude.. but just think about it. Give the guys a break.. i mean seriously - it's hot in there. But when i walked out, i sat in my car chuckling. Man, I know people say we should be "happy to have a job", but the look on homeboy's face when you walk in the door is priceless. Here's the dialogue and the "real" dialogue: Dialogue: "Yeah?" (Not, hi may i help you.) What they're really thinking: Da F***k you want?? Dialogue: "I just came in to pick up my pizza". What they're really thinking: "Well, it's sitting over there on the damn counter, go limp your lame a** over there and "pick it up!" Dialogue: "Your credit card was declined." What they're really saying: "I knew it.. mofo walked in here looking all broke." "Dialogue: "Okay, you have another one, let's try that one out." What they're really thinking: "Yeah, let's try out the one that hasn't been maxed out yet." Dialogue: "Yeah, sign right here." What they're really thinking: "yeah, sign it and hurry up, and don't let the door hit where the good Lord split you on the way out." Dialogue after you've said "have a good day" What they're thinking: "My shift is just now starting and they tell me to have a good day." I feel the same way sometimes, i we all know midwesterners "keep it real".. I like it, and and i like the pizza. Give those guys some love when you go there. It's not an easy job putting really good pizza customer after customer. They'll have no complaints from me. And give the big guy at the cash register a hug. He's a cutie..:)

No question they have some of the best pizza but a recent encounter made me think twice about going here when I come back into town. They advertise as closing at midnight but they tend to close earlier than advertised so it's best to get your pizza early.

Recently moved here from the east coast. I have been trying to find edible pizza in Sioux city and tried out Rosie's because it came highly recommended. Looks like I will have to keep looking. This pizza had too much cheese, lousy crust, lousy sauce, and a licorice flavor.

Late night, after wedding. We stayed at the Marina, and Rosie came to the rescue in less than 20 min. We were amazed at how great this pizza tasted, and it wasn't because we had come from an open bar reception. We will absolutely order from here again should we somehow stumble through Sioux City, IA again.

I've never had a disappointing pizza here. This little joint has been in business forever for a reason..because they make an excellent product! It's too bad people have to post negative reviews over a place not having a website! Seriously? There may not be a lot of room for dining, but if we wanna be fair and review the quality of the food and service, then I give these guys a thumbs up and 5 's!!! Keep up the good work, Rosie's!!!

Lost my business cause you don't have an online menu. I was planning on ordering over 200$ worth of food

It might just be me? I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza for a friend that was in town and I ended up eating it all myself. They had 2 pieces and were not thrilled with it. They actually thought it was too spicy. So they can write a review if they did not enjoy it, but since I ate the majority of it I am still going 5 stars!

We got the late night snack attack and ordered a cheese pizza from Rosie's at the recommendation of the front desk worker at the hotel. It was a good late night delivery option. The pizza was extremely cheesy and hot with a thick crust. It was delivered fast and well worth the $14 we paid.

Excellent half cheese half pepperoni pizza. Right on the main road through town. We had the dining room to ourselves. Highly recommended.

I have been eating Rosie's Pizza for over 30 years now. It is HAND'S DOWN, the BEST pizza I've eaten ANYWHERE. Whenever I'm asked what my favorite food is, I always come back to this. If I was on death row and got to pick my final meal, I am certain that it would include Rosie's Pizza. Since I was a child, we always ordered hamburger and pepperoni. I don't know what kind of seasoning they use, but it gives it one of the most delicious tastes I've ever experienced. This food has become a comfort food to me. It takes me back to simpler times. It reminds me of my late Mom and my late Step father. It is much more than just a pizza place to me. It has become a part of my history. If you're looking for good pizza, there are a lot of options. If you're looking for GREAT pizza, there is Rosie's Pizza in South Sioux City. Highly recommend!!!!

Pizza in Nebraska? Does it have corn on it? No... Rosie's is simply amazing pizza. The sauce is great, not unique necessarily, but good. The crust is somewhere between thin and thick and has an amazing bubbling and charred pockets of air. Sorry for the vegetarians here but the pepperoni is simply the finest I've experienced. It's probably not anything spectacular in the quality that they buy but they coat it in an ultra-secret finely powdered spice that sears in the pizza oven. I'm still torn about which is better, Two Boots Pizzeria, in Manhattan or Rosie's Pizza in little South Sioux City, Nebraska. Let me try to put into perspective how good this pizza is... When I was back in that area for my Grandmother's funeral my uncle and I ordered 5 pizzas from the parking lot of the funeral on the eve of the funeral and stopped off to pick them up for the gathered family (even though the good folks of our home town had been bringing food to the family for days). So good that said Uncle and I ate three pieces each before we left the little pizza shop to return to our family. Forgive us, Grandma! (She knows how good it is.)

This is seriously the BEST PIZZA EVER! I have had pizza from East coast to West coast and I wish this place was in San Diego! The sauce is amazing and they are not stingy on the toppings at all!
